Ms. Herbst was our guest presenter for the MS Tech Prep period, and she led a workshop on Kaizena.

Kaizena is a Google Docs add on that allows a teacher to provide differentiated feedback on a student's written work. Apart from basic text comments, a teacher can easily attach audio recordings, video links, and scaled ratings.  The teacher has the option of compiling a lesson library for issues that commonly arise.

 

Once the student has revised the work, it can be resubmitted to the Kaizena stream for further feedback.  All versions of the project are accessible on this one stream, showing the development of the student's work over time.
