ELA Workshop on Google Forms and Flubaroo

Our MS ELA teachers attended a workshop on Google Forms. Google Forms is a flexible tool within Google Drive that allows teachers to collect information (e.g., a quiz, a poll, a survey) in digital form. It provides a variety of question types that can be rearranged and edited easily. Once a form is created, the students can complete it online, and the results are instantly gathered into an easily analyzed spreadsheet for the teacher.

Flubaroo is an add-on to Google Sheets that allows for automatic grading of forms that use multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank question types.  Flubaroo can be enabled through the add-on menu on the toolbar. Step by step instructions on how to create self-checking quizzes can be accessed here.
